There are no shortage of superhero shows on the air right now, and locking one into a subscription service that is specific to DC feels Star Trek Discovery-style exhausting, and yet I think Titans is worth either messing with the free trial or paying $8 for a month to watch it, because it really is that good. The season finale is also memorable as a Dick Grayson feature that dives deeper into Gotham and Batman stuff than you might expect. My favorite episode of the season didn’t even have to do with the main cast, as it was the Hawk and Dove-centric Hank and Dawn episode which was powerful and touching in a way I didn’t see coming at all. The Jason Todd episode is one of my favorites, and he’s a fantastic character I hope we see a lot more of, and if this show lasts long enough, maybe we can get to a Red Hood arc. There are some truly incredible episodes in here.
